"Pile Up"
 
Although Hippos are actually one of the most deadly animals in Africa, they also can display a gentle and affectionate side to them. We spent a couple afternoons in a row on a boat observing this pod of Hippo in the St Lucia region of the iSimangaliso Wetlands. The wetlands are a vital habitat to these giant herbivores and are one of the best places in South Africa to get up close and personal to them.
