South-East Asia

South-East Asia - Portfolio

My first ever job as a photographer was working in a dive shop on a string of islands off the North-West coast of Lombok in Indonesia. It meant spending each day in the water filming and photographing students as they learnt to dive, putting together a video of them and the wildlife they came across in the hopes of selling them that video later that night. I have no doubt that working this job helped to open my eyes to the world of possibilities that were open to me if I learnt how to use my camera correctly.

South-East Asia is home to the most biodiverse reefs on planet earth and some of the world's most amazing jungles. I've been lucky enough to spend a lot of time exploring the Indonesian Archipelago in my younger years, however most of which I was still using a point and shoot. So to me this portfolio is still very much a work in progress.

But for now, enjoy some of my favourite shots from the region...
